The students will visit the Cadastral Office for the Moravian-Silesian Region, Technical Division 3000, the Documentation Preparation Section 1/3010, the Cadastral Records Update Section 2/3110, and the Point Data Section 3/3150. At the Cadastral Office for the Moravian-Silesian Region’s Opava branch, they will learn about the review and updating of descriptive information records in the Update Department.
Professional Knowledge: Students will gain knowledge of the organization and activities of cadastral offices and branches, the principles of creating and updating cadastral records, the creation of a new set of geodetic information, and the updating of the descriptive information database. They will also become familiar with the tasks involved in the management and updating of point fields.
Professional Skills: Students will be able to navigate the various technological procedures of a cadastral office, identify the interrelationships between geodetic data, the geodetic information database, and the descriptive information database, and apply their theoretical knowledge of the real estate cadastre to the practical procedures involved in its maintenance and updating.
General Competency: Students are able to navigate the practical environment of a cadastral office, understand the roles of individual specialized departments, and assess the importance of geodetic activities for the creation, renewal, and updating of cadastral records. They can apply the knowledge gained in subsequent professional geodetic and cadastral practice.
