Applied Artificial Intelligence

Summary

The course introduces basic theoretical and application possibilities of artificial
intelligence. After a basic classification of fields of application of modern
discipline the subject develops its basic development. Students will learn methods of knowledge representation, knowledge systems, knowledge discovery and data from databases, issues of vision and machine learning, adaptive and learners systems to virtual reality applications. Matter is practiced on practical application examples, including aspects of the mineral resources industry. In conclusion students are familiar with the use of evolutionary algorithms and artificial areas life.
