Summary

The course is focused on acquiring knowledge in the area of ​​identifying cost items and their quantification. The course also focuses on the basics of creating construction budgets, the budget structure and practical use in the preparation, implementation and control of construction projects. Emphasis is placed on understanding the principles of valuing construction work, correct interpretation of technical documentation and quantity survey reports, working with budget databases and orientation in applicable legislation and standards. Students will learn to compile itemized budgets, calculate costs, evaluate the economic efficiency of construction projects and work with commonly used budget software, such as KROS4.
The student's professional skills include the ability to obtain and evaluate data for subsequent budget preparation and analysis. The student is then able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills to specific tasks, whether in the area of ​​budgeting for reclamation work or other construction work.
