Industry-induced Global Environmental Issues

Summary

The course deals with an overview of current global problems that are focused on the environment. This course will focus primarily on anthropogenic / industrial sources of pollution and the impacts of human activity on key ecosystems on a global scale. This course deals with the cross-section of individual industries and their impact on the environment on a local and global scale. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issue of environmental damage, and also to acquaint them with the possibilities of solutions in the form of sustainable and so-called "clean" technologies in solving the impact of current industrial production on the environment.
