Mineral Biotechnology

Summary

The course of “Mineral Biotechnologies” is focused on introductory information
on utilization and application of mineral biotechnologies in research as well as operational practice. The course deals in detail with the issue of mineral biotechnologies. The individual lectures concentrate on environmental biogenic processes, basic principles of mineral biotechnologies, general characteristics of microbial metabolisms of the individual microorganisms. Next, it deals with the study of potential application of biogenic processes into technological procedures of treatment and processing of selected sulfitic ores.
