4. Landfill body (drainage systems, dewatering, insulation foils, etc.), landfill processes, leachate, landfill gas, landfill investigation methods, land reclamation
5. Thermal methods of waste disposal, waste incineration; combustible waste, advantages and disadvantages of incineration, waste pyrolysis and gasification. Facilities for thermal waste disposal, waste heat recovery; waste incineration control
6. Biological methods of waste disposal, basic conditions and course of composting, types of compost, handling of biodegradable waste - utilization options
7. Separation and composting of municipal waste, optimization of raw material composition in compost, composting of waste and potential risks of microbial contamination, vermicomposting
8. Anaerobic degradation
9. Decontamination technologies - venting, remediation pumping, bioremediation, biodegradation, soil washing
10. Physical-chemical methods of waste processing; types of hazardous chemical waste and its re-processing
11. Physical-chemical methods of waste processing - solidification of waste
12. Physical-chemical methods of waste processing - adsorption, distillation, neutralization, hydrolysis, precipitation
