Water Management

Summary

This course focuses on the comprehensive issues of water resource management and water engineering. Students will be introduced to legal regulations, including the Water Act and other relevant laws and regulations, as well as principles for protecting water conditions and the water regime of the landscape. The course also covers the assessment of the status of surface and groundwater, the design of various types of irrigation systems (including micro-irrigation and sprinkler systems), and the technical principles of drainage. The curriculum includes the design of drainage channels, pumping stations, drainage systems, and flood protection.
