Flocculation and Selective Flocculation

Summary

The objective of the course is to expand on the theoretical and applied
knowledge in the area of processing technologies of very fine particles and
slurries. The study focuses on the theoretical basis and practical aspects of
flocculation of monomineral and polycomponent suspensions and the study of
action mechanisms of the individual coagulating and flocculating reagents. The
application part deals with the study of technological possibilities of
utilization of selective flocculation of useful constituents in the processing
of fine mineral resources taking into account the technology of complex
material processing.
