Microbiology in water technology

Summary

The course deals with the microbiological processes in water technology. It addresses the theory of growth and multiplication of microorganisms, including the mathematical relationships. Kinetics of removal of organic compounds from wastewater. Applies aerobic, anoxic and anaerobic treatment processes, procedures and treatment and processing of sewage sludge.
