Development and Research of Composite Materials

Summary

The course deals with research and development of new composite materials based on industrial waste. The subject discusses suitable types of waste that can be used in new composite materials. Furthermore, the procedures of treatment of a given type of industrial waste, which can be used in the design of a new composite after treatment, are discussed. Furthermore, the actual procedure of designing a new composite and methods, procedures for testing chemical, physical-mechanical and deformation properties and their method of evaluation are discussed.
