Introduction to Geoinformatics

Summary

The course will provide an introductory overview of geoinformation technologies (GIT).
Attention is paid to themes common to all the GIT, such as positioning, geodata, spatial objects and data models.
It is discussed in more detail the issue of GIS and students are briefly acquainted with
other geoinformation technologies, such as digital terrain models, satellite navigation
and positioning systems, remote sensing and mobile geoinformation technologies.
