Summary

The course brings the overview of two program packages ArcGIS Desktop and ERDAS Imagine, used for GIS implementation. The main aim of the course is to give the resume of the functions and programs possibilities and point to native data files specifics that are processed within these products. Meaningful contribution connected with successful passing the course is in building the grounds for the following self study and for the knowledge improvement that enable him/her to use these program packages in learning process and to solve their own projects.
