Geodata processing practice

Summary

The main aim of this course is to solve practical problems using the knowledge gained so far from previous courses. A few practical projects will be assigned during this course to students dealing with different aspects of the real world. These projects will be solved by students who create several project teams. One of problems will be solved collectively with the support of the teacher. The rest of projects will be divided between research teams. They will solve it separately with occasional consultations with the teacher. The whole process will be solved starting with the analyses of problems, selecting appropriate data sources, collecting these data sources (including communications by phone and emails with virtual data providers), pre-processing and processing of data and finally with presentations of results. The realisation will be finished by presentation of results, by defending of the results in front of the client and by completing the final report.
