GIS Methods and Remote Sensing in Geoturism

Summary

The course introduces students with basic knowledge of Geoinformatics, including geographic information systems, digital terrain models, remote sensing, unmanned airborne vehicles, global positioning navigation systems. The course will provide students with practical information on the various disciplines with a focus on the application of this knowledge in the study field. Students will be able to create basic maps, work with GPS receivers, become familiar with piloting and legislation in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. They also will be able to work with satellite images and maps in the Internet environment.
