Design of Geoinformation Technologies

Anotace

The subject focuses on the principles of project management in geoinformatics, explaining basic approaches of waterfall, prototyping and agile methods of management, learn students how to used the Return of Investment (ROI) method, explaining economic aspects of projects, definition and assesment of costs and benefits of projects. The subject includes also the basic interpretation of technical standardization and the review of the most important standards, introduction to the selected European directives (mainly INSPIRE), main Czech laws related to geoinformatics and principles of building geoinformation infrastructures.
