In terms of biology, a comprehensive overview of basic information of living matter, its composition, structure and functions of the various hierarchical levels. Environmental Geochemistry introduces the migration patterns of the elements in the Earth's crust and the environment. Botany focuses on plant physiology, systematic botany and zoology acquaints students with the knowledge of the general characteristics of the animal kingdom, characterized by fauna of the Czech Republic and its position within Europe.
