Fundamentals of engineering and engineering technology

Anotace

The subject aims to master the reading of information from technical documentation and to understand the technological processes required in the production of engineering components. Students will be introduced to the methods of dimensioning and tolerating engineering components and the standardization of basic engineering components. Furthermore, the subject presents a general overview of the available technologies of chip machining, welding, finishing and surface treatment of machine components. An integral part is also a basic overview of the field of strength control of selected types of machine nodes and components.
