Industrial Practice

Summary

The target of the full-scale practice is profound investigation of student
into
the operational conditions of a relevant foundry shop. The student has to pass
consecutively the entire technological route of a foundry shop incl. of the
pattern shop, the auxiliary laboratory and testing rooms, storage rooms and
dispatching hall. He has to be acquainted with facilities installed at the
foundry shop and with their working conditions. He should pay attention to the
wasting rate of castings. He has to pass even the economic departments of the
foundry shop to be reckoned with the control of production, the applied system
of standardization of work and price calculation of castings. He has to
compile
a written report on the course of practice and on the acquired knowledge.
