Subject syllabus

1.Assembly of composite parts - procedures for fitting individual body parts, procedures for solving problems with dimensions. Methods for solving partial problems during assembly.
2.Assembly of parts - assembly procedure, adjustment, Fasteners, assembly errors, adjustment errors, tightening torques, inspection.
3.Technology of manual metal forming.
4.Assembly of piping systems for liquid and gas distribution.
5.Bonding of parts - suitability and possibilities of using the application of bonding. Principle of joining automotive parts, explanation of the basic concepts of adhesion, wettability, cohesion.
6.Basic classification of adhesives and selection of the right adhesive - technology of bonding different types of materials, surface treatment for bonded joints, types of bonded joints. The most common errors in the design of a bonded joint.
7. Glass materials and their assembly and use - prototype technology for the production of glass materials, methodology for their testing and approval. Glass replacement, bonding methodology, materials used, surface treatment of bonded surfaces.
8. Technology for welding truss structures - transferring the production drawing to the production process. Fixtures, technologies, equipment, problems, use of measuring arms when checking the accuracy of production and comparison with the model.
9. Technology for welding metals and methods used in the prototype environment of the automotive industry - TIG, MIG, suitability of welding methods for partial tasks and their use for welding frames and bodies, automation of welding using robots.
10.Soldered joints in prototype production - suitability of soldering application, treatment of soldered surfaces, types of soldering.
11.Welding and repair of plastic components - technologies, methods of welding plastics, preparation of weld surfaces, choice of filler material, problems in welding plastics, methodology.
12.Composite materials for the production of vehicle bodies - production technology and materials of negative forms, production technology and materials for bodywork, joining composite materials, work with resins and sealants.
13.Materials for the production of vehicle interiors - interior production technology, interior upholstery, methodology, design of suitable materials. Requirements for materials used in vehicle interiors.
