Subject syllabus

1. The concept of management. The specifics of process control. Analytical and synthetic approach to production management. Production of a basic type of business
2. Characteristics of production factors and their functions (physical factors, personnel, technology, organization, management). Management process as one of the prerequisites for efficiency and competitiveness of the company.
3. Typology of production systems. Production types according to the program (product assortment, quantity of manufactured products), process, inputs, technology, timing, used equipment.
4. Tasks and objectives of production management. Management levels (strategic, tactical, operational). Deciding on the production: the creation of prerequisites (hardware) - Production capacity and conditions for its use, self-management (software) - Indicators economic efficiency. Competitiveness and its adoption.
5. Preparation of production. Construction production planning. Technological preparation of production. Material Production. Internal production preparation. Automation production preparation.
6. Standardisation of production management. The content and structure of the normative base. Features and methods of standardization. Organization standards. Information standards. Technical standards. Technical and economic standards. Planning normative production management.
7. More efficient production process. The concept of productivity. Reengineering and nature. Process control systems. MRPII, OPT. T. procedure. Theory of constraints - the principle of DBR. Production management using simulation.
8. Management staff. Determination of the needs of workers. The selection and placement workers. Remuneration and other forms of stimulation of workers. Increasing qualifications. Working conditions.
9. Quality of products and processes. The four stages of quality. Areas of influence and quality management: organization, systems, measurement tools, the target company
development, suppliers, manufacturing processes, support services staff.
10. Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
11. Economics of production uptime quipment.
12. Organization and maintenance management.
13. Maintenance Systems. Methods of raising reliability of components, nodes, production lines.
