TThe first law of thermodynamics, standard states, enthalpy, reaction heat.
Thermal capacity, dependence of reaction heat on temperature, application.
The second law of thermodynamics, entropy. Helmholtz and Gibbs energy.
Gibbs rule of phases, phase diagrams – one-component, two-component, three-component and multi-component.
Polymorphous and phase transformations of substances in real ceramic systems.
Richardson-Jefferson diagram, its interpretation and use for real ceramic systems.
Applying of given knowledge at evaluation of corrosion resistance of real ceramic systems.
