Summary

Processing of measured data. Basic statistics: moving average, median, t-test etc. Data filtering. Approximation using regression functions. Use of logical functions. Analytical solutions of the heat conduction equation. Finite difference method: mesh design, time step selection. Heat conduction in fins. Heat conduction with an internal volumetric heat source. Numerical determination of view factors in radiative heat transfer problems. Numerical solution of heat conduction with phase change. Numerical solution of gaseous fuel combustion.
