4. Application in building materials – concrete, refractory concrete, aerated concrete.
5. Energy by-products and their division.
6. Formation of energy by-products, technological procedure of individual thermal processes that produce energy by-products.
7. Characteristics of by-products, chemical and physical properties.
8. Methods of testing energy by-products.
9. Utilisation of energy by-products, possibility of their recycling.
10. Alkali-activated materials – definition, division, use, properties.
11. Alkaline activators – water glass, solid sodium silicate, sodium hydroxide.
12. Geopolymers – definition, structure, use, properties. Principle of geopolymerization.
