Sustainable thermal energy management

Summary

The development of human society must show elements of responsibility. One of the pillars for ensuring the possibility of further progress for future generations is the implementation of the principles of sustainable development. The subject familiarizes students with the issue of sustainable development in the field of energy, especially thermal. Students will learn what sustainability means, what social and economic interactions it has, the main risks that threaten sustainability are defined, and on the other hand, the student will learn about measures that can eliminate these risks, including in the field of thermal energy management in the municipal sector. Last but not least, the subject includes an overview of legislative instruments and economic incentives or restrictions that society adopts with the vision of achieving sustainable development.
