Summary

energy and stress approach to the solutions in the fracture mechanics.
Fracture toughness testing, standard apprach to the problematics of fracture,
calculation of stress intensity factor K for various types and geometry of
cracks.Practical fracture mechanics of metals, composites and technical
ceramics.

Application of fracture mechanics at the solutions to slow crack growth by
fatigue, stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement.
Fractography as the part of the solution of fracture origin at various practical
conditions.
