The Special Testing Methods

Summary

The course deals with deepening the study of basic mechanical properties with special mechanical characteristics. Practical examples illustrate the reasons for introducing special test methods for fatigue, corrosion fatigue, corrosion cracking, steel fracture behavior, creep and resistance of steels in sulphan-containing environments. Special methods are also presented in the field of non-destructive testing for the detection of internal defects in the material volume.
