Metals for Nuclear Reactors

Anotace

The subjects makes students familiar with general requirements to materials
applied at construction and operation of nuclear power reactors. This general
part is followed by characteristics of individual groups of materials, such as:
coating materials, fissile materials and fertile materials, moderators,
coolants. Students get familiar with requirements to these materials, basic
technologies for their production, evaluation of their quality and
possibilities of modification of their properties.
