There are characterised individual types of radiation, including potential
sources in nature. There is also discussed impact of these individual types of
radiation on humans an environment, including binding standards and regulations
from these areas. Attention is paid also to protection against sources of
ionising radiation and possibilities of their liquidation. There are also
explained basic measurement and analytical methods, which use this ionising
radiation.
