Theory of Nonferrous Metals Production

Summary

The subject “Theory of production of non-ferrous metals” relates to general
theoretic subject “Theory of metallurgical processes” and it is focused on
theoretical bases of processes used at production of non-ferrous metals.
Production of non-ferrous metals uses a broad range of raw materials of
diversified chemical character. This requires also a broad range of procedures
for their processing. Students get acquainted with basics of pyrometallurgical,
hydrometallurgical and electrometallurgical processes.
