· Overview of materials, their properties and applications.
· Copper alloys, classification, alloying elements, structure, phase diagrams, thermal treatment, microstructure, properties and applications.
· Nickel alloys, classification, alloying elements, structure, phase diagrams, thermal treatment, microstructure, properties and applications. Ni-based superalloys.
· Cobalt alloys, classification, structure, thermal treatment, properties and applications. Co- based superalloys.
· Alloys on the base of Zn, Sn or Pb, structure, properties and applications.
· Alloys on the base of aluminum. Classification, alloying elements, phase diagrams, thermal treatment, structure, microstructure, properties and applications. Metal matrix composites on the base of aluminum allloys.
· Magnesium alloys. Classification, alloying elements, phase diagrams, thermal treatment, structure, microstructure, properties and applications.
· Alloys on the base of Li or Be, structure, properties and applications.
