Special Statistical Methods

Summary

The understanding of statistical thinking principles inclusive of methods of
practical process variability analysis is the main goal of this subject. The
subject especially deals with the basic instruments of quality control (check
sheets, histograms, Ishikawa diagram, flow charts, Pareto analysis, scatter
plots) and complex methodology of statistical process control and acceptance
sampling. The special stress is put on verification of meeting of the
preconditions for every studied instrument application (using testing of
statistical hypotheses, exploratory analysis methods etc.). and on the obtained
results interpretation.
