Methodical approaches to quality improvement and problems solving.
Seven basic quality management tools. Flow chart. Cause-effect diagram. Pareto analysis. Data form. Data stratification.
Statistical processing of collected data. Methods of exploratory data analysis.
Histogram. Scatter plots, fundamental principles of regression and correlation analysis.
Principles of statistical process control. Control charts for variables and attributes.
Process and machine capability analysis. Process capability indices.
Statistical properties of measurement systems. Methods of measurement system analysis.
Principles of acceptance sampling. Efficiency of sampling plans. Producer´s and consumer´s risk. Types of sampling plans. AQL sampling plans.
Quality planning and its methods. FMEA.
