• The content and the importance of quality planning. Quality planning according the family of standards ISO 9000.
• Quality plans, purpose of use. Recommended contents of quality plans according to ISO 10005: 2006. Control plans and their use.
• Methodological approaches to product quality planning. Planning of product quality by J.M. Juran. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). The production part approval process (PPAP, PPF).
• QFD and its use. Basic and advanced variant of the House of Quality. Four- matrices approach. Matrix of Matrices.
• Design review, objectives, principles, content.
• FMEA and its application. Product FMEA. Process FMEA.
• Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
• Process capability analysis, procedure, solution of non-standard situations. Machine capability analysis.
• Process capability indices and their interpretation. Capability indices sensitivity to changes in the process. The use of capability indices to estimation of the probability of non-conforming products occurrence. Factors affecting the information value of process capability indices.
