History of Art II

Summary

The second part of the cycle is focused on the main art streams of Renaissance and Baroque art in Italy and Renaissance in North Europe and centres of art which have influenced the rest of Europe. Mannerism is explained both as one of the results of the intellectual crisis in the end of Renaissance and as the first sign of the Baroque art culture. The end of the cycle is concentrated on problems of the Czech Baroque art. All lessons are equipped with pictures. 80% presence in lessons is necessary as well as passing the test according to the criteria given by the teacher.
