Subject syllabus

Basic principles of the plastic deformation in hot nad cold forming, type of crystal lattice, mechanisms of plastic deformation
Classification of the softening processes, dynamic and postdynamic softening, basic influences on the softening kinetics
Influence of the softening processes on formability and material characteristic, methods of increasing strength and plastic characteristic
Hot and cold rolling of flat products (bodywork sheet metal, strip)
Rolling and drawing of long products – profiles, wires, tubes
Thermomechanical processing of the conventional and modern steels - IF, BH, DP, TRIP, TWIP, HSLA
Finishing works on forming products (anticorrosive protection …)
Catalysts, carriers for catalysts, active substances.
To describe kinetics of softening processes and conventional and modern metallic materials used in the automotive industry
Characterize selected polymer materials used in automotive industry, their production, properties and applications
