Summary

The subject is aimed at theoretical and technological aspects of casting production. Casting - product of the production process in a foundry. Creation of a casting - mechanical and technological requirements. Procedure of individual operations in the production of a casting. Foundry process drawing and production process of a casting. Model equipment and basic knowledge of its production. Brief overview of individual generations of molding and core mixtures. Basic defects of castings are also presented, including their determination and prediction.
