Stress states, crystal lattice, dislocation shearing systems and most important mechanisms of plastic deformation. Theoretical background of plastic forming of chosen steels and non-ferrous alloys under cold and hot conditions, work hardening, flow stress. Softening processes during material forming. Specific aspects of cast structures forming. Material aspects of forming. Application potential of eco-technical forming. Formability tests.
