1. Possibility of descaling before cold forming
2. Heat treatment of steels - principles and division of annealing, tempering, patenting
3. Internal stresses in forming products - straightening
4. Corrosion of metallic materials - characteristics, description and schemes of individual types of corrosion
5. Protection of metal surfaces against corrosion - basic division and preparation of surfaces before coating
6. Theory and technology of hot-dip and electrolytic galvanizing
7. Copper plating and aluminum plating
8. Tinning and chrome plating
9. Non-metallic coatings and metal surface treatment to increase wear resistance
10. Material testing - overview of special tests of mechanical properties and quality of the coating layer.
