Subject syllabus

1.Introduction
2.Basic directions and development in materil forming. The impacts of material forming on environments. The reduction of energetical requirements of materiál forming.
3.Working environment, water, soil, air. Protection against vibrations, noise, temperature and radiant heat. The waste in forming technologies, scales, chips, powder particles. Re-utilization of metallic waste.
4.Econoical problems connected with environments protection. Ecological friendly forming technologies and requirements of their application.
5.Preparation of ultrafine grained and nanomaterials by severe plastic deformation methods.
6. Properties and structural stability of UFG and nanomaterials.
7.Isothermal and superlastic forming, technical applications.
8.Conventional and non-coneventional extrusion techniques.
9.Special forming methods by gaseous or liquid medium.
10.Forming under warm, cold and cryo conditions.
11.Forming under high strain rate conditions, forming of semiproducts based on powder techologies, direct consolidation.
12.Radial forging and rotary swaging, cross rolling.
13.Special forming techniques: dynamic forming, ultrasound forming, electromagnetic forming.
