Advanced methods of bulk forming

Summary

The course is focused on the theoretical and practical aspects of technological processes of free and die steel forging and non-ferrous metals. Particular attention is paid to the free fitting of dimensional forgings from structural and tool steels and their heat treatment. In the die forging, attention is paid to classical forging technology, buckets, presses and fittings on rotary forging machines. Also, basic theoretical knowledge from the field of preparation of ultraviolet structure, SPD processes and thermo-mechanical processing are presented.
