Materials with Special Physical Properties

Summary

In this subject, the student gets to know physical properties determinative for application of semiconductor, conductor, magnetic, shape memory, intermetallic, single crystalline, amorphous, cellular, functionally gradient and other materials. Student should be able to orientate oneself in technological processes of materials preparation and modification of physical or physical and metallurgical properties. The knowledge of principles of electrical conductivity, magnetism, superconductivity, high structure ordering, shape memory effect, glass transition, gradient aspect, cellular structure preparing or single crystal state.
