Osnova předmětu

Test methods for evaluating the material properties and their distribution. Special test methods.
Fundamentals of fracture mechanics.
Test methods for determining the fatigue characteristics of materials (curve εat life – Nf, cyclic curve σa – εapl). Test methods based on linear fracture mechanics .
Test methods for evaluating resistance to sudden unstable fracture (DWT, DWTT). Test procedures based not fracture mechanics (KIC, JIC, δc, JR curve reference temperature T0, Master curve).
The test procedures for determining the creep characteristics of the material (the rate of secondary creep , creep limit RT (σTp), creep rupture strength RmT (σTPt).
Test methods for evaluating resistance to HIC (Hydrogen Induced Cracking) and SSC (Sulfide Stress Cracking) under hydrogen sulphide.
Test methods for evaluating corrosion stress. Evaluation of crack initiation stage. Evaluation stage of stable crack growth.
