Modern methods of heat treatment

Summary

In the introduction, the given subject is oriented towards the basic types of heat treatment (HT), which are followed by selected, most promising methods of HT, including their analyses, respectively. physical metallurgical principles. Furthermore, the conditions of stability and instability of microstructures, which arise after the application of modern types of processing of metal materials, especially steel, are discussed. Modern HT technologies make it possible to achieve very promising mechanical-metallurgical properties under economically favourable conditions and with favourable energy requirements.
