Work industry experience

Summary

The course aims to provide students with experience in solving real problems in industrial practice. The course will be implemented in two parts:

I. I. Teaching provided by experts from practice
In this part, teaching blocks will be taught by experts from practice, especially from companies where we expect graduates of the field to be employed (e.g. OnSemiconductors, Forvia Hella, Meopta and companies associated within the Czech Optical Cluster, etc.). The teaching will directly reflect the actual problems solved in the application sphere, showing the link between the knowledge and skills acquired during the studies and practical tasks of industrial production.

II. Professional practice in an industrial enterprise or at a foreign university
This part of the course will be implemented in one of the following variants (i) practice in a domestic industrial enterprise, (ii) practice at foreign university or in a foreign enterprise, (iii) practical implementation of an application research project in direct cooperation with an industrial enterprise. Students will learn about the corporate environment and the industrial way of problem solving.
