Subject syllabus

1. Introduction to the subject. Introduction of MS Office and other alternative programs. Information systems and resources of VŠB-TUO (INNet, Edison for students, LMS Moodle).
2. Word: creating a document (professional article, technical report) and working with text, styles, writing mathematical equations, creating tables, embedded images, automatic numbering of embedded objects.
3. Word: working with SmartArt, links and cross-references (tables of contents, indexes), revising the document, inserting add-ins.
4. Excel: basic operations in the environment, cell references, performing calculations, visualizing results, working with charts.
5. Excel: functions, data analysis, approximation of experimental data.
6. Excel: functions, data analysis, approximation of experimental data, application tasks.
7. Powerpoint: presentation basics, alternative presentation programs (mind maps), pdf presentations.
8. MS Outlook: work with mail, calendar and tasks. MS Teams basics of online communication and linking with MS Outlook. Alternative communication tools for online teaching and presentation.
9. Editing of photos and their inclusion in the document. Painting the picture. Cloud storage, principles and uses.
10. Vector graphics and principles of 2D drawing. 2D technical drawing working with layers, operations with drawn objects.
12. 3D printing, principles of printers, functions, operations before printing.
