After completing the course, the student will achieve the following learning outcomes: The student will explain the legal system in the Czech Republic, focusing on the area of ​​private substantive and procedural law. The teaching is aimed at being beneficial for students' practical application. Specific contentious and uncontentious proceedings are discussed with students, including the case law of higher courts, so that they are able to prevent various legal problems that often arise in practice, whether it is labor disputes, claims for compensation for damage against members of statutory bodies, the agenda of public registers, proceedings in matters of business corporations, etc. Students will also acquire practical skills in the field of procedural law, learn to write uncomplicated procedural submissions - a lawsuit, amendment of a lawsuit, withdrawal of a lawsuit, a proposal for the accession of another participant to the proceedings, an objection to the inadmissibility of secondary participation, an objection to the territorial or material incompetence of the court, an appeal, etc. After completing the course, the student can work with resources on the Internet, use them correctly and effectively.
