English Language b/IV for FEI - intermediate (BME)

Summary

The lessons focus on mastering the lexicon, grammar, and phraseology within the given scope. Students will acquire complex language skills, they will be able to use terminology related to the course topics, so that they will be able to apply them once they are working as professionals within an international working environment.

Students will be able to discuss the types and uses of medical imaging systems thereby deepening and extending their vocabulary and knowledge in this area of biomedicine. They will also learn to use different types of linking words in the professional texts as well as to prepare and give a 10-minute presentation on the field-related topic, which they will present to their classmates during the semester. Students will also become familiar with phrasal verbs the acquisition of which can enhance their spoken English.
