German Language Dr.

Summary

The student prepares a literature search for the exam - a professional text on the topic of the doctoral thesis in a format of at least 2xA4 and lists 10 relevant sources.
The PhD examination itself consists of several parts: a short introduction of the PhD student, motivation to study and a scientific plan. This is followed by a presentation of the research, including the own perspective on the problem studied (10-12 min). The exam also includes a professional discussion of the topic, as well as the actual publication, preparation for the conference, the current status of the own research, methods, procedures and other activities within the doctoral studies.
