Nanotechnology for the environment and sustainable development

Summary

Students will be acquainted with the areas for which nanotechnologies and nanomaterials are important. These are nanotechnologies that bring savings in the use of materials and energy and reduce waste, as well as technologies that are used for environmental decontamination and nanotechnologies that allow detection of substances in the environment. The last area includes the negative impact of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials on the environment and human organisms.
