Guiding PhD Writers with Strategic and Targeted Feedback on Drafts

On behalf of the Writing Support Centre, we would like to invite you to the 2nd Professional Development Day which will take place on October 9, 2023, between 9.00 and 11.00 (PI 332).

This interactive event will be an in-depth look at practical and manageable strategies for designing and implementing meaningful writing feedback, regardless of the academic discipline. Specifically, we will address the following:

• Role of revision for text development
• Connection between feedback and revision
• Ways to design effective and timesaving feedback.
• Role of peer- review, and ways to teach peer review.
• Analyses of model texts and practice activities

The workshop Guiding PhD Writers with Strategic and Targeted Feedback on Drafts is meant for thesis and PhD student supervisors.
